Privacy policy
Effective September 15, 2026
IgnLab Product Passport stores only the information needed to provide accounts, product passports, billing and scan analytics.
Information we process
- Account email address, password hash, plan and session information.
- Product information you enter or import, including titles, images, SKUs, GTINs, materials, facilities, responsible operators and care information.
- Evidence documents you upload, including certificates, declarations, reports and their issuer or validity details. Uploaded evidence is stored outside the public web directory and is served through controlled passport links.
- Passport scan timestamp, general device category, referrer and a salted one-way hash of the network address. Raw scanner network addresses are not stored.
- Stripe manages payment details. IgnLab stores the Stripe customer reference and subscription status, not card numbers.
Website analytics
IgnLab-owned website, account and tool pages use Google Analytics with measurement ID G-LF1WS4CN7Y to understand visits and product usage. Public product-passport and short-link destinations do not load Google Analytics; they use IgnLab’s first-party scan counts instead.
How information is used
We use this information to operate public passport pages, enforce plan limits, provide analytics, prevent abuse and maintain account security. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
You can delete individual passports from the dashboard. Deleting an account removes its passports, scans, revisions and QR data. Limited security and operational logs may remain for the period required to protect the service.
Service providers and transfers
Hosting, email delivery, Stripe and Google Analytics may process information as necessary to provide their parts of the service under their own terms. Data may be processed outside your country.
Your choices
You can keep a passport as a draft, delete passports, or request account deletion. Browser privacy controls may limit Google Analytics. For privacy questions, contact @ignlabnet.
